Not only do I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book:
Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier,
but I also love the movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock!
I love the welcome and depressing romance! I love the eerie feeling the book gives you! As wonderful as the book was, I never imagined I would like the movie as much!
Not only does the movie follow the story line, but it brings it to life perfectly! Starring the devilishly handsome and perfectly stoic Laurence Olivier as George Fortescue Maximilian 'Maxim' de Winter and the beautiful Joan Fontaine as The Second Mrs. de Winter, Hitchcock's classic is definitely one of my top movies of all time!
